This section contains a variety of non-chemistry interests I've enjoyed over the years.

TerrariumsI heavily enjoyed making terrariums between 2018-2020, housed in various objects such as light bulbs, jars, random containers, and even an upside down chandelier cover. Terrariums serve as miniature models of the large scale systems of the environment outside every day, having its own internal water and nutrient cycles. The largest terrarium even became an interesting experiment showcasing some mathematics of population blooms due to a cricket population that nearly eradicated the foliage of the terrarium before losing much of their own population by starvation.

Tool Restoration
A favored hobby of mine that I've gotten the chance to pursue on occasion. Some major restorations I've undertaken are a machete left in an abandoned cabin, an old hand-axe, and a larger axe that I am currently carving a new handle for. My restoration typically doesn't go much beyond rust removal and the creation of new handles, but the tools turn out pretty alright.
